Situated 3 miles from Port Agnes and
9 Miles from Truro, Porthtowan has so much to offer including wonderful
coastal walks and one of the finest surfing beaches in the South-West.
With its expanse of sand, rock pools and wonderful caves to explore,
the beach is ideal for families. Wet Suits, surf boards and
tuition are available next to the beach, which also has a lifeguard
on duty throughout the season.
Although small and quiet,
Porthtowan has many amenities including a small supermarket and
post office, tea rooms and
The Blue Bar - a family friendly and lively bar with good
food and live music at the weekends.
